[April 13, 2013]  McLEAN -- Sugar Grove Nature Center will host an "Animal Tails" program in the Little Wonders series on April 17, with two sessions to choose from: 10-11:30 a.m. or 1-2:30 p.m.

Little Wonders is a program designed to introduce 3- to 5-year-olds to the world around them. A naturalist will read an exciting nature story while incorporating hands-on discovery. This session's topic covers animals' tails. Animals have tails that come in all shapes and sizes. Find out how each tail helps the animal move, communicate and even fool predators. In addition, the children will get to make a craft and have a snack.

Registration and adult chaperone are required. The fee is $5 for child members of the nature center and $8 for nonmember children. For more information or to register, phone 309-874-2174 or email register@sugargrovenaturecenter.org.
