Salvation Army offers flood cleanup kits for those in need

[April 19, 2013]  Tony Shuff of the Lincoln Salvation Army office announced Thursday that the Salvation Army has approximately 100 free cleanup kits available for people in need of supplies for cleanup of flooded basements. 

The kits contain a large bucket, two mop handles, a mop head, squeegee, broom, brush head, sponge mop, garbage bag, dust mask, work gloves, safety gloves, hand brush, a bottle of Pine-Sol and a bottle of bleach. 

Anyone who is need of such supplies is invited to contact Shuff at the Keest Center on Kickapoo Street between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. weekdays. 

In addition, Shuff said if folks cannot come during those hours, they can call and make an appointment for him to meet them there.
