[April 22, 2013]  Lincoln Daily News received the following report from the office of the Logan County state's attorney, Jonathan C. Wright:

On April 18, 2013, Judge William Yoder accepted a fully negotiated plea sending Tara Conner to the Department of Corrections for 7 years followed by 2 years of Mandatory Supervised Release, formally called parole, for committing the offense of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a Class 2 Felony. On May 16, 2012 Conner was caught selling Norco pills and Fentanyl patches from her home. Conner was facing 3 to 14 years in the Department of Corrections; however, probation was an option. Conner has previously spent time in the Department of Corrections for a Residential Burglary occurring in 2003.

On April 18, 2013, Judge William Yoder accepted a fully negotiated plea sentencing Kevin Jones to the Department of Corrections for 2 years for committing the offense of Unlawful Possession of Contraband in a Penal Institution, a Class 3 Felony. On May 8, 2011, Jones was in the Department of Corrections serving a 12 year sentence for Armed Robbery when Jones was found in possession of 8 marijuana cigarettes. Jones' 2 year sentence will be added to the end of the 12 year sentence he was serving.

On April 18, 2013, Judge William Yoder accepted a fully negotiated plea sending Johnnie Fulton of the 1300 block of Kickapoo Street, Lincoln, Illinois to the Department of Corrections for a total of 3 years followed by 4 years of Mandatory Supervised Release, formally called parole. Fulton will spend 2 years in the Department of Corrections for committing the offense of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, a Class 3 Felony, and 1 year in the Department of Corrections for committing the offense of Domestic Battery, a Class 4 Felony. Fulton committed the offense of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon on November 12, 2012. At 10:30PM, Fulton was found intoxicated wandering into traffic by Lincoln Police officers. Fulton was frisked and found to be in possession of a spring loaded, mechanically operated knife. Fulton committed the offense of Domestic Battery on February 7, 2013. Fulton has previously been convicted of Domestic Battery on two prior occasions and has a previous felony conviction for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.

On April 18, 2013, Judge William Yoder accepted a fully negotiated plea sending Leterrase Carter of the 1000 block of N. College Street, Lincoln, Illinois to the Department of Corrections for 18 months for violating the conditions of his probation. In 2010, Carter pled guilty to Domestic Battery and was placed on probation. Carter violated his probation by committing the offenses of Aggravated Assault on April 20, 2011 and Domestic Battery on April 8, 2012. Once Carter is released from the Department of Corrections he will spend 4 years on Mandatory Supervised Release, formally called parole.

On April 16, 2013, Judge William Yoder accepted a fully negotiated plea sending Henry Hinton of the 800 block of E. Allen Street, Springfield, Illinois to the Department of Corrections for 1 year for committing the offense of Retail Theft, a Class 4 Felony. Hinton committed the offense on November 12, 2010 at 4:00PM when he entered Dollar General, located on Woodlawn Road, Lincoln, Illinois, concealed items in his coat and left the store without paying for the items. This was the sixth time Hinton committed a Retail Theft.

On April 18, 2013, Judge William Yoder accepted a fully negotiated plea in which Andrew Ivashchenko of the 4000 block of Mississippi Avenue, Kahokia, Illinois agreed to spend 30 days in the Logan County Jail for committing the offense of Driving While License Revoked, a Class 4 Felony. On August 16, 2012, Elkhart Police conducted a stopped Ivashchenko for traveling 44 mph in a 30 mph zone. After stopping Ivashchenko, Elkhart Police learned that Ivashchenko's license had been revoked. This was the third time Ivashchenko was found driving without a valid license.
