CHESTNUT -- John L. Galbraith, 55, of
Chestnut, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at 9:04 p.m. at his family's
residence in Middletown.

Chestnut: -John L. Galbraith, 55, of Chestnut, IL,
passed away at 9:04 P.M. August 3, 2013 at his
family's residence in Middletown, IL.
John was born on December 3, 1957 in Lincoln to
Raymond Eugene and Marie B. Bennett Galbraith. He
worked as an iron pourer at Wagner Casting Company
in Decatur for many years.

John is survived by one daughter Jackie (Michael)
Falcon of Lincoln, IL, one son Jeff Galbraith of St. Louis,
MO, three sisters, Linda (David) Miller of Middletown, IL,
Vicki Moore and Loretta Francencini, both of Clinton, IL and
three granddaughters, Arianna, Julia and Mia. He was
preceded in death by his parents.
Services for John will be held on Wednesday August
7, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Lincoln. Visitation will be one hour prior to
services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Laenna
Cemetery in Chestnut. Memorials may be made to Safe Haven
Hospice.
