Friday afternoon several
turned out to compete in the Garden Tractor Pull at the Logan County
Fair.
But if you're expecting to see
your next-door neighbor hitching on to a sled with his riding
lawnmower, think again. These tractors are modified
specifically for pulling. Just like the big rigs that pulled
the night before, they are part of the Illinois Tractor Pulling
Association, and Friday's event was an ITPA-sanctioned event.
Participants and how they
placed in the contest are as follows: 1st - Charles Vogel; 2nd
- Billl Nippe; 3rd - Kelley Voyles; 4th - Mike Schultz; 5th - John
Cress; 6th - Steven Johnston; 7th - Steven Johnston; 8th - Brian
