[August 08, 2013]  ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- World Wrestling Entertainment's largest investment to date in training its next crop of professional wrestlers is in full swing in central Florida.

WWE's new 26,000-square foot regional home opened last month and is already offering what executives say is the brainchild they envisioned when they decided to relocate its performance center from nearby Tampa.

Aside from giving its next generation of talent a place to hone their skills, it's also affording current, top-tier wrestlers a place to recover from injuries that occur during WWE's year-round, international travel schedule.

The up-and-comers split training time with appearances on WWE's weekly, and one-hour "NXT" shows, which are filmed live in front of a crowd of 500 at its studio at nearby Full Sail University and broadcast in 100 countries.
