Thursday evening a nice crowd turned out for the opening-night reception of the latest art show at the Lincoln Art Institute.

This month's show features entries from the blue-ribbon winners at the 2013 Logan County Fair. The entries included a wide variety of mediums, from acrylics to Legos, photography and watercolors, plus much more.

The show runs through Sept. 7.  The address for the Lincoln Art Institute is 112 S. McLean St., on the courthouse square.

Lincoln Art Institute's regular hours are Saturdays 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

The institute also plans to be open during the annual Lincoln Art & Balloon Festival Aug. 23-25.
