Little Wonders at Sugar Grove Nature Center

[August 10, 2013]  McLEAN -- Sugar Grove Nature Center in Funks Grove will have a Little Wonders program, "Little Nature Center on the Prairie," on Aug. 21. Participants can choose from two sessions: 10-11:30 a.m. or 1-2:30 p.m.

Little Wonders is a program designed to introduce 3- to 5-year-olds to the world around them. This session’s topic is prairies. A naturalist will read a nature story while incorporating hands-on discovery. Explore the prairie while learning about the plants and animals that call it home. Enjoy a snack and story, create a prairie craft, and hike in the tall grasses and flowers.

The fee is $5 for child members and $8 for nonmembers.
