While U.S. Rep. Aaron Schock was at the Arcade on Thursday morning, he fielded a few pre-written questions from those in attendance. While he was unable to answer all the questions during his visit, he said he would read and respond to each question in the days ahead.

Schock finally made his way inside.

He spoke about the financial issues in Washington and the need to rescue Social Security.

Guests stood outside the door of the cafe because there was no more room inside.

Schock also answered a few of the questions that had been pre-written by guests as they arrived Thursday morning.

Those outside strained to hear what the congressman had to say.

Schock's assistant, Carol Merna, thanks guests for coming out for the event.

When Schock was finished, he lingered inside to talk to some one-on-one.  While some made their way out of the cafe, others hoped to get in.

Schock chats with a visitor as local attorney Doug Muck and businessman Kevin Inman listen in.
