When evening came, only two pieces had to be
changed to turn the day dress into a ballgown.

The stiff, long-sleeved blouse is removed and a
white lace overskirt is added. |

Once again, the changing process requires some
help. |
A lace ruffle-trimmed blouse is added.
The top laces in the back and has tails for a proper bow. |
|
Ribbons or bows were added to the hair. |
The crowd watches closely during the
transformation. |
|
|
And the result? |
A beautiful evening ballgown |
