When evening came, only two pieces had to be changed to turn the day dress into a ballgown.

The stiff, long-sleeved blouse is removed and a white lace overskirt is added.

Once again, the changing process requires some help.

A lace ruffle-trimmed blouse is added.  The top laces in the back and has tails for a proper bow.

Ribbons or bows were added to the hair.

The crowd watches closely during the transformation.

And the result?

A beautiful evening ballgown
