On Saturday evening the crowds
came in full force to the Logan County Airport to be a part of the
last launch and glow of this year's Lincoln Art & Balloon Festival.
Folks came with lawn chairs
and blankets, filled the west side of the grass runway and
lined the east side as well. When 6 p.m. came and the
balloonists began inflations for their launch, hundreds made their way
out into the landing strip to get a close-up view of the work going
on.
