[August 29, 2013]The LCHS varsity boys soccer team
lost their season opener to Jacksonville on Tuesday night by a score of
7-0. The inexperienced Railers gave up four goals in the first half and
three second-half goals.
"We knew it would be a challenge, after graduating so much
experience. At this point in the season, we are just looking to
find out what works best for our players and improving each
game," said LCHS coach Tim Stuckey.
"Now we know what we need to work on in practice to make our
team better."
The Railers play again Thursday night at Pleasant Plains. The
varsity game is at 6:30 p.m.
