[August 31, 2013]PLEASANT PLAINS -- The LCHS boys
soccer team fought hard to pull out a tie against Pleasant Plains on
Thursday night. The Railers went into halftime down 1-0 after giving up
a late goal.
After Lincoln coach Tim Stuckey's halftime talk, the team looked
rejuvenated and dominated much of the possession in the second
half. With 11 minutes to play, the hard work paid off as Gage
Vinson found the back of the net for the equalizer.
In the net
for the Railers, Kevin Barker had a great game, making seven
saves.
The team is now 0-1-1 and heads to Springfield to play
Lanphier at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
