Illinois grain prices in country elevators

[December 03, 2013]  SPRINGFIELD -- This is Monday's report of the grain prices and trends, prepared by the USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Monday afternoon. Weekly corn inspections were reported at 35.66 million bushels which was above trade estimates while soybean inspections were below trade estimates at 52.6 million bushels.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were mixed at 4.00-4.13. Soybean bids were stronger at 12.90-13.21.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were mixed at 3.97-4.16. Soybean bids were unchanged to 2 cents higher at
13.05-13.22.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mixed at 4.00-4.21. Soybean bids were steady to higher at 13.15-13.38. Wheat bids were higher at 6.41-6.70.
