Illinois grain prices in country elevators

[December 04, 2013]  SPRINGFIELD -- This is Tuesday's report of the grain prices and trends, prepared by the USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Tuesday afternoon. Wheat found support in the cold weather moving into the wheat producing areas of the west. Technical trading kept corn pointed upward while soybeans showed minor weakness.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were 1 to 12 higher at 4.01-4.21. Soybean bids were 2 to 5 lower at 12.85-13.19.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were 3 to 4 higher at 4.03-4.19. Soybean bids were unchanged to 4 cents higher
at 13.05-13.26.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 5 to 8 higher at 4.08-4.26. Soybean bids were 1 to 4 lower at 13.14-13.34. Wheat bids
were mixed at 6.39-6.77.
