With an evening temperature of only 24 degrees, it was the truly dedicated who ventured out of their warm homes Thursday evening to take in this year's Christmas parade in downtown Lincoln. But there were those die-hard Christmas enthusiasts who made their way to the downtown square to see a number of excellent entries depicting this year's parade theme: "A Picture Perfect Christmas."

Those who were there were not disappointed as several float entries made their way around the square. The highlight of the evening was a wonderful new float for Santa Claus. The float depicted Santa in his sleigh flying through the night skies with his trusty team of reindeer.
