The Red Lions leaped out to an early 10-5 lead, but the Red
Devils came back with 14 straight points and outscored the
visitors by 25 points over the next 10 minutes. After their
early lead, LCU would head to the locker room down 50-28 and not
see another lead for the rest of the game. Eureka's offense was
powered by five players scoring in double digits, while LCU
struggled with a scoring percentage of less than 40 percent.
LCU senior David Graves (Eustace, Texas/Eustace High) led his
teammates in scoring with 15 points, followed closely by
sophomore Raymond Shegog (Sun River Terrace/Lincoln College)
with 14.
The Lincoln Christian University Red Lions return to their
home court in the Laughlin Center on Saturday for a 1 p.m. game
against the Royals of Grace University.
