LC wrestling results

[December 16, 2013]  RIVER GROVE — The Lincoln College wrestling team traveled to River Grove this weekend to compete at the Art Kraft Open hosted by Triton College. This was the best outing of the year for the Lynx team as they placed 10 individuals in the top six of the tournament, two of whom won at the tournament.

Placers were as follows:

• 125 — Leslie Williams (Cahokia), second

• 125 — Jewell Webb (Cahokia), sixth

• 133 — Camron Halton (Carbondale), fourth

• 157 — Luke Dunn (Monticello), third

• 157 — Romero Stancle (Chicago), sixth

• 184 — Archie Williams (Champaign), first

• 197 — Myron Hamilton (Indianapolis, Ind.), first

• 197 — Stephon Rudicil (Bloomington), fifth

• 197 — Ian Early (Greenfield, Ind.), sixth

• Hwt. — De'Quence Goodman (Chicago), second

The Lynx will return to action Jan. 11-12 in Des Moines, Iowa, where they will compete at the junior college national duals.
