Stella M. Beatty Vannoy, 91, of Lincoln, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2013,
at 7:02 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Lincoln- Stella M. Beatty Vannoy, 91, of Lincoln,
passed away at 7:02 p.m. on Monday, December 23,
2013 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Stella was born on December 27, 1921 in Lincoln,
daughter of Jacob and Albertina S. Johnson Hopp. She
was united in marriage to Wilmer Beatty in 1946 in
Lincoln. He preceded her in death in January of
1960.

Stella is survived by her daughters: Nancy Trail of
Lincoln and Mary Buss of Atlanta, IL; eight grandchildren,
and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
her parents, husband, one daughter and one brother.
There will be a private graveside service at New
Union Cemetery in Lincoln at a later date. Memorials may be
made to the American Cancer Society. Services were entrusted
to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
