On today's front page is the LDN 2013 Picture of the Year, taken by Lisa Ramlow. 

Choosing a picture of the year this year was extremely difficult as we had literally thousands of top-quality photos to choose from.

As we looked through our archives, we took into consideration what was going on in the photo, the quality of the photo and how it made us feel. Some of the shots we looked at this year were fun shots of kids and adults at play or being silly. Some were shots that marked significant moments in this past year. Some we chose just because they were pretty and made us smile.

When we were done, we had narrowed the stack considerably. So, while there is only one top picture of the year, we would like to share with you some of our favorite shots of the year and hope you will enjoy seeing them as much as we enjoyed taking them.
