ATLANTA -- Richard L. "Kitch" Kitchen,
74, of Atlanta, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at 12:40 a.m. at his
home.

Atlanta- Richard L. "Kitch" Kitchen, 74, of Atlanta
passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 12:40
a.m. at his home.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Kitchen will be held on
Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the
Quiram Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta.
No visitation is scheduled. Cremation Rites have
been accorded.
Richard Lynn Kitchen was born on December 9, 1938 in
Dawson, Ill. the son of Clifford L. and Eileen Curry
Kitchen. He married Sandy L. Green on August 26,
1968 in Springfield. She survives.
Also surviving are his children: Doug Kitchen,
Michelle (Brian) Geiger all of FLorida, Shannon
(Randy) Litterly of Illinois. His step children:
Gill Gresham, Mark Gresham both of Illinois, Lisa
Shaffer of Iowa. One brother: Charles Kitchen of
Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one
daughter: Debbie Kitchen.

Richard served in the United States Air Force.
He retired from Caterpillar, Inc. Morton plant after
30 years of service where he was a member of UAW
Local #974.
Memorials may be made to the Atlanta Rescue Squad.
