According to Amy Hyde of the
Logan County Extension office, this was one of the biggest years the
group has ever seen. She said one of her big concerns during
the day was trying to keep enough spaghetti cooked.
"We were
running out before we could get the next batches done. I went
out to see how people were doing and saw that everyone was visiting
and laughing and having a good time, so I guess they didn't mind
waiting a little bit," she said.

In addition to the dinner, there was a silent auction
with a large number of items available for bidding. |

While some had finished their meal and were
checking out the silent auction ...
No standing in line for this little gal! Plus, from her lofty height, she can see everything that is going on. |
... others were taking the opportunity to just
relax and visit a bit.

volunteers helping out in the kitchen. She spent a lot of time
refilling the dessert table and also helping get carryout orders
ready. |
