Dollar mixed ahead of G-20 meeting

[February 16, 2013]  NEW YORK (AP) -- The dollar is mixed against most major currencies as finance ministers and heads of central banks from the 20 largest economies in the world gather to meet in Moscow.

The G-20 is meeting this weekend. The officials are expected to discuss how economic policies are affecting currencies.

The euro rose to $1.3354 in afternoon trading from $1.3346 late Thursday. The British pound rose to $1.5522 from $1.5485.

The dollar fell to 0.9218 Swiss franc from 0.9227 Swiss franc.

The dollar rose to 93.36 Japanese yen from 93.02 Japanese yen, and to 1.0068 Canadian dollar from 1.0014 Canadian dollar.
