Sunday morning the newly re-formed FFA Alumni Association had members on hand to offer support to the kids in their fundraising effort. The LCHS FFA has had an alumni association in the past. Recently a group of former FFA alumni decided to try to bring a group together again.

The breakfast Sunday was a debut of the association at work. Dave Opperman, treasurer, said there was a secondary reason for the event, and that is to raise awareness of the alumni association in hopes that former FFA members will come back and join fellow alums to grow the group.

Marc Short, president of the group, also said, "We want to reinvigorate the alumni association."

Claude VanFossan  is the pancake maker extraordinaire in Lincoln.

In addition to the great food, diners had a variety of bidding choices in a silent auction going on during the day. A live auction also took place at 10:30, to a packed house.
