Zion 8th-grade Lady Eagles excel over Little Flower

[February 20, 2013]  The Zion Lutheran School Lady Eagles seventh- and eighth-grade volleyball teams played Springfield-Little Flower Catholic School on Tuesday on Eighth Grade Recognition Night at ZLS.

The Lady Eagles eighth-grade team won in two games, 25-17 and 25-19. All seven eighth-graders contributed to the victories.

• Kalyn Roberts -- 3 aces, 7 assists

• Claire Conrady -- 1 ace, 2 assists, 2 kills

• Heather Heidbreder -- 5 aces, 2 assists

• Katie Hoban -- 4 aces, 1 kill

• Isabelle Thompson -- 2 aces, 2 kills

• Anna Haduch -- 1 ace

Little Flower won the seventh-grade match 18-25 and 5-25.
