[February 23, 2013]  SPRINGFIELD -- Memorial Medical Center will be the host for an interfaith Service of Remembrance on March 3 in the Wedeberg Conference Center.

The service is for families of patients who have died at Memorial Medical Center and for parents who have lost a child during pregnancy. The service also provides an opportunity for staff and physicians to remember the patients they cared for and to celebrate their lives with family and friends.

The service will begin at 2 p.m., followed by the planting of a "memory bush" on the grounds of Memorial Medical Center.

Memorial Medical Center is at 701 N. First St. in Springfield. The Wedeberg Conference Center is on the hospital's lower level, near the main entrance.
