Disturbance at Wishbone leads to drug bust

[February 26, 2013]  On Saturday at approximately 2 a.m., Lincoln police were notified of a disturbance at 915 Fifth St. at the Wishbone Tavern.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with a suspect involved in the disturbance at the Wishbone. The suspect was Kyle Welch, 28, of Lincoln. Welch was placed under arrest for:

• Obstructing/resisting a police officer -- Class A misdemeanor

• Aggravated battery to a police officer -- Class 1 felony

• Possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver more than 15 grams -- Class X felony

Welch is currently being held on $250,000 bond.
