The clay the model is made from is still soft and suffered a few bumps on the way to Lincoln.

Seagraves does a little touch-up to the model.

Committee member Paul Gleason is seated; standing near Gleason is Bill Hoagland of Main Street Lincoln; and standing in the foreground is Harry Tibbs.

Lincoln Mayor Keith Snyder inspects the statue for the first time.

Tibbs examines the details of the statue and wonders what is hanging out of Lincoln's pockets.
