LJHS 7th-grade volleyball advances to regional final

[February 28, 2013]  On Tuesday night, the Lincoln Junior High School seventh-grade volleyball team played against the No. 1 seed in their regional, Mount Zion, and won in three games: 23-25, 25-14, 25-18. It was an exciting back-and-forth match.

The girls will play Thursday at 5 p.m. against Chatham Glenwood for the regional championship.

LJHS individual stats:

• Lexi Clark: 15 service points, 4 aces, 13 assists

• Kerstin Osborne: 11 service points, 2 aces, 6 digs, 2 kills

• Rita Winkel: 9 service points, 1 ace, 5 digs

• Emma Cline: 9 service points, 2 aces

• Ariana Spencer: 3 blocks, 2 kills

• Grace Bossingham: 1 block, 9 kills
