[January 07, 2013]  A new FFA alumni chapter is under construction for graduates of Lincoln Community High School. The alumni chapter will work to support the current FFA program and will offer its help in FFA activities.

The chapter has completed its first stages of organization by electing officers for the first year. Those officers are Marc Short, president; Scott Goodman, vice president; Tracey Rawlings, secretary; and Dave Opperman, treasurer.

The chapter will meet on Jan. 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the LCHS ag room to discuss establishing membership dues and also upcoming events for this year that the chapter can be involved in.

The group has already committed to assist the FFA students with this year's pancake and sausage breakfast in February.

Any former FFA student who wishes to become involved in the alumni chapter is invited and encouraged to attend the January meeting.
