Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Wednesday afternoon, with corn higher and
soybeans and wheat futures mostly lower.
Trading activity was slower again
today due to the approaching USDA reports to be released Friday
morning.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 5 to 6 cents higher at 6.75-6.88.
Soybean bids were 1 to 3 cents
lower at 13.70-13.94.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were mostly 4 to 5 cents higher at 6.86-7.06.
Soybean bids were mixed at
13.91-14.07.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 5 to 8
cents stronger at 6.75-7.14.
Soybean bids were 1 cent lower at
14.05-14.23.
Wheat bids were 4 to 6 cents lower
at 7.25-7.51.
