[January 03, 2013]  Sign up your team for men's basketball. League play will be on Sunday afternoons. Fees will include 10 regular-season games and a double-elimination tournament. Also two officials and a scorekeeper will be provided for each game. Daily admittance fee will be applied to nonmembers. The Lincoln Park District is offering a special $30 track and court membership for league participants that will cover the daily admittance fees for the entire spring league schedule, game and non-game days. Registration packets are available at the back desk in the Sports Center. If you want to participate as a "free agent," registration information is available at the same location. Remember, the Sports Center is one of the best ways to keep your New Year's fitness resolution. The park district offers memberships at many levels and can accommodate people who just want to walk the heated indoor courts or those wanting a very intense workout. The park district also offers just about any kind of group fitness class you can imagine. From young adults to seniors, the park district has something for you. With aerobics, cardio, spin and Zumba, there is a fitness slot for you somewhere.

And for those of you wanting more one-on-one instruction, the trainers at the Lincoln Park District Fit Zone are experienced and qualified to assist anyone at any fitness level reach their goals. They are friendly, reliable and able to get you started on a fitness program just for you.
