LC wrestling results

[January 15, 2013]  SPRINGFIELD -- The No. 19 Lincoln College wrestling team traveled to Springfield this weekend to compete in the NWCA National Duals. This was a good opportunity for the team to compete against the best junior college competition in the country.

The LC team had some ups and downs throughout the day, finishing in sixth place with a 1-2 record. Takil Agnew (Springfield) and De'Quence Goodman (Chicago) went 3-0 on the day.

Dual scores were as follows:

• Niagara Community College 26, Lincoln College 24

• Lincoln College 23, Iowa Lakes 12

• Harper College 26, Lincoln College 16

Next weekend the Lynx wrestling team will host the Hampton Inn Duals in Jack D. Nutt Arena on Saturday at 9 a.m.
