FLORISSANT,
Mo. -- The Lincoln Christian University men's basketball team
traveled to Florissant, Mo., Tuesday night to take on the Soldiers of
St. Louis Christian College. In the season's first match between the two
teams, back in December, LCU (7-10) beat SLCC soundly 87-44. Tuesday
night was no different as LCU shot SLCC out of the gym and grabbed an
84-54 victory.

It was back and forth to begin the game, with multiple lead changes
happening within the first 10 minutes. When LCU grabbed the lead at
20-18, midway through the first half, it was their lead for good, as
they built the margin to double digits, going into halftime 40-22.
The second half was more of the same as senior shooting guard Brady
Cremeens (Hopedale, Olympia High), heated up from the floor and the
offense began clicking. With five minutes left in the second half,
LCU had the game in hand and unloaded their bench to finish the
game.
Cremeens led all scorers Tuesday night with 29 points on 10-of-21
shooting, including 5 of 11 from beyond the arc. Sophomore forward
Gabe Langseth (Stewartville, Minn., Stewartville High), followed
Cremeens in scoring with 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting, while also
grabbing 11 rebounds to attain a double-double. Sophomore forward
David Graves (Eustace, Texas, Eustace High) chipped in with six
points and 13 rebounds. For St. Louis Christian, junior forward
Micah Schnautz (Louisville, Ill.) led the way with 16 points on
5-of-11 shooting. Freshman guard Rodney Mondaine (St. Louis, Mo.)
chipped in with 12 points and nine rebounds.
