In addition to the luncheon Monday, the kids were involved in a variety of other community activities. They are spending this week collecting food for the local food pantry, and today was Peanut Butter and Jelly Day. Some of the older students performed community service at places such as Christian Child Care, Oasis Senior Center, Mission Mart, Pink Shutter, St. Clara’s Manor, Christian Nursing Home and Castle Manor.

Some of the younger students helped put together special little backpacks called Journey Bags. These bags will be donated to the Woven Together program, a local organization that offers support to families who are trying to adopt.

Jennifer Craig, school secretary and assistant athletic director at Carroll Catholic, forwarded more photos of some of the activities on Monday.

To learn more about what the students will be doing this week, check out their schedule of activities posted in the Teaching & Learning section of LDN. There are also daily reminders in the "Day Planner" in LDN's Top Stories section.
