Sunday evening the Lincoln Area Music Society played to a large crowd in Latham Park.

With the Fourth of July just days away, the theme of the night was patriotic music. The band played a wide variety of patriotic and all-American music for the audience.

In addition, there were special pieces that included the bell choir and a vocal choir.

Young and old alike enjoyed the evening. The temperatures were perfect, the music was wonderful, and there was even ice cream and cake being sold by the Lincoln Woman's Club.

Several brought lawn chairs, some brought blankets, and a few even brought their supper.
