Goldie E. Kashock, 91, of Lincoln, passed away July 1, 2013 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, IL.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln. Funeral services will be Friday, July 5, 2013 at 12:00 Noon also at the funeral home with Chaplain Ryan Edgecombe officiating. Burial will follow at New Union Cemetery, Lincoln.

Goldie was born August 25, 1921 in Burtonview, IL., the daughter of Oscar and Mary (Huskin) Sapp. She married Louis Kashock on January 11, 1941 in Burtonview, IL. He preceded her in death on June 1, 2010.

Goldie was a member of Lincoln Christian Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving are: her son James (Melda) Kaschock of South Pekin, IL. daughter Mary (Richard) Dermody of Everett, WA.; five grandchildren: Michelle Sakaguchi (Chad) of Bothell, WA., Shannon Dermody (Daniel Taugher) of Staton Island, NY., Melissa Dermody of Seattle, WA., Kimberly Watson (Perry) of Pekin, IL., and Deborah Schmick (Scott) of Manito, IL.; great grandchildren: Nathan Sakaguchi, Emma Grace Taugher, Shayla Watson, Travis Watson, Ashley Schmick,, and step great grandson Billy Merry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sisters: Carrie Brooks, Helen Taylor, Bertha Husted, Dorothy Sapp, Pauline Taylor, infant twin sisters and brothers: Roy Sapp and Arthur Sapp.
