[July 01, 2013]  Fourth of July events have been scheduled in Mount Pulaski and Lincoln:

Mount Pulaski

8 a.m.-? -- Citywide garage sales
Maps with listings will be available July 3.

10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. -- VFW Southern fried chicken, south side of square

11 a.m.-2 p.m. -- Boy Scout pork chop sandwiches, Johnson's Food Center and at the East Park pavilion (near pool)

2 p.m. -- Mount Pulaski Community Band at Vonderlieth Living Center

6 p.m. -- Bike parade on town square

7 p.m. -- Haircut Actual band at Frazier Park

Dusk -- Fireworks at Frazier Park

Lincoln

10 a.m. -- Old-fashioned children's parade, to begin at Scully Park and end at the Lincoln Park District (parade registration begins at 9 a.m.)

11 a.m. -- Water balloon fight with Lincoln Fire Department at the park district

7 p.m. -- 2nd annual "It's a Blast" bags tournament at the park district

7 p.m. -- Food concessions at the park district

7:30 p.m. -- DJ Kevin Curry at the park district

Dusk -- Fireworks at the park district, with opening ceremony by the American Legion Post 263 color guard
