[July 03, 2013]  The congregation of Immanuel Lutheran Church once again invites the communities of Lincoln and the surrounding area to join in celebrating our nation's independence by watching the Fourth of July fireworks display at the Rec Center grounds. The church's spacious lawn adjacent to the high school parking lot offers an excellent observation point for these festivities.

Beginning at 6 p.m., the women of the church will offer tasty treats at their annual bake sale while the men of the congregation will sell ice cream. There will be free popcorn for one and all, and cold drinks will be available for sale.

Restroom facilities will also be available.

The congregation hopes the community will join them to salute "America the Beautiful."
