Landfill open for landscape waste, writing club

[July 05, 2013]  City landfill to be open this weekend

Due to the recent storms, the city of Lincoln's landscape waste facility will be open this Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. Only landscape waste will be accepted.

On July 10, the facility will return to the normal hours of Wednesday and Saturday, 8 a.m.-3:50 p.m.

Lincoln Writer's Club to meet July 9

Lincoln Writer's Club will meet Tuesday, July 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the Alumni Room of the Lincoln College student center.

Suggested topics: most beautiful, unusual or unique wedding you have attended; Father's Day; Fourth of July; or most pleasant or most devastating vacation you have experienced.
