JULY 17

BABY BATH SEATS 

SCS Direct is recalling Thermobaby Aquababy Bath Ring Seats sold nationwide from June 2012 to January 2013. The bath seats fail to meet federal safety standards, including the requirement for stability. Specifically, the bath seats can tip over, posing a risk of drowning. 

The recall includes Aquababy Bath Ring seats in pink or blue designed for children five months to ten months old. "Thermobaby Z.I. De Kerbois," "Aquababy" and "Ref. 1953 Made in France" is engraved underneath the bath seat.

LED LANTERNS 

Industrial Revolution is recalling UCO Arka LED lanterns sold nationwide from April to May 2013. The lantern's wall charger plug can fail during normal use, posing a fire hazard. 

The recalled UCO Arka LED lantern can be used as a flashlight, a lantern or a USB charger. "UCO" and an image of a flame are printed in red on the base. Model number "A1265"is printed above the plug's prongs and a small green dot appears below on the lower corner.

BOYS' JACKETS 

5 Star Kids Apparel is recalling Boy's long sleeve hooded jackets  sold nationwide from August 2010 to March 2011. The recalled jackets have drawstrings with toggles inside the bottom hem and neck area, posing a strangulation hazard. 

This recall involves boy's long sleeve hooded jackets sizes 2T to XL. The word "Mecca" is embroidered on the front chest of the garment and on the interior label sewn into the neck of the jacket.  A complete list can be found at www.recalls.org

Customers can return the product to the store where purchased for a full refund.

KENMORE DEHUMIDIFIERS 

Sears is recalling Kenmore dehumidifiers sold exclusively at Sears and Kmart stores nationwide from 2003 to 2009. The dehumidifiers can overheat, smoke, melt and catch on fire, posing fire and burn hazards. 

This recall involves Kenmore brand 35-, 50- and 70-pint dehumidifiers made by LG and manufactured between 2003 and 2005.  Model numbers can be found at www.recalls.org

INFANT JACKETS 

Macy's is recalling Infants' First Impressions Varsity Jackets sold at Macy's stores nationwide between September and November 2012. The snaps on the jackets can come off, posing a choking hazard. 

This recall involves infants' snap-up jackets with hoods. Style number 1300 is found on the label sewn into the side seam and the UPC code is found on the product hangtag. UPC codes can be found at www.recalls.org

Consumers should return the jackets to the place of purchase for a refund.

ELECTRIC SMOKERS 

Masterbuilt Manufacturing is recalling Electric Smokehouse Smokers sold nationwide from May 2012 to August 2012. The wood chip tray can fail to slide securely into the smoker, causing the wood to combust and the smoker's cabinet door to blow open, posing a fire hazard. 

The upright electric smoker is a rectangular, black matte colored cabinet with a stainless steel door with a glass window.  Model number 20070312 or 20070512 is printed on the serial plate located on the rear panel of the smoker. The smokers have a screen printed Masterbuilt logo on the window and on the serial plate.
