When the bikers arrived at the Logan County Safety Complex, they quickly retreated inside to the downstairs Blue Room for a period of cooling off in the air conditioning and refueling with hydrating beverages and healthy snacks.

The group entered the city with a parade of sorts, led by the city of Lincoln Police Department and the Illinois State Police, and followed by several escort vehicles from a variety of police departments. Bringing up the rear was the city of Lincoln Fire Department.

Before going inside to cool down, Officer Maurice Johnson of the Lincoln Police Department took a moment to pose for a picture with two fellow Lincoln police officers and friends, Miles Craig and Kevin Lynn.

Johnson said the ride had been a great experience and one that he will definitely take part in again.
