Walter R. Lee, 82, of Lincoln, died Friday, July 26, 2013, at 11:50
p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Lincoln- Walter R. Lee, 82, of Lincoln passed away
on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 11:50 p.m. at Memorial
Medical Center in Springfield.
Private funeral services for Mr. Lee will be held.
Burial will be in New Union Cemetery in Lincoln.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.
Walter Russell Lee was born on November 8, 1930 in
Lincoln the son of William H. and Pansy McCray Lee.
He married Joann Kindred on July 25, 1960. She
survives.
Also surviving are his children: Donna (Lyle) Horner
of Minier, Randall K. Lee and Rhonda Lee both of
Lincoln.
Three grandchildren: Lisa Lercher, April Young, Troy
McCawley. eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four
brothers and three sisters.
Walter served in the United States Army.
He retired from Saint-Gobain bottle factory in
Lincoln.
Memorials may be made to the Logan County Humane
Society.
