Mount Pulaski Public Library summer program begins

[June 06, 2013]  MOUNT PULASKI -- The Mount Pulaski Public Library has announced its reading program for the summer. The theme for this year's fun-filled program is "Have Book ... Will Travel." Sign-up this week continues through Saturday at the library. All ages are welcome.

The library has special programs scheduled on Tuesdays during the summer. The first will be on June 11, featuring John Brownbeck, a magician and balloon animal artist. All programs will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the library, 320 N. Washington St.

The following programs are scheduled:

  • June 11 -- John Brownbeck, with magic and balloon animals

  • June 18 -- Scovill Zoo

  • June 25 -- Mad Science

  • July 2 -- Wet and Wild
    Be sure to bring something to sit on outside. You might get wet! If there is bad weather, another program will be presented in the library basement.

  • July 9 -- Snakehead Ed, with snakes from around the world

  • July 16 -- "Fly-Away" party -- Make an airplane and have a lunch of hot dogs, chips, cookies and a drink. You must sign up for the party.
