[June 15, 2013]  CHAMPAIGN -- The Chicago I FUND is set to host its annual Illini Day at Wrigley Field on July 7, when the Cubs host the Pittsburgh Pirates at 1:20 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for an exclusive rooftop party with Fighting Illini head basketball coach John Groce.

When he's not at the rooftop, Groce will participate in a pair of events, throwing out the first pitch and singing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" during the seventh-inning stretch.

Tickets are $105 each and include all food and beverages. To order tickets, complete the online registration at go.illinois.edu/illiniday. Illini fans will want to act fast as tickets are extremely limited.

The I FUND also will host a pregame reception at Rebel Bar & Grill in Wrigleyville, 3462 N. Clark St., with Groce scheduled to attend at 11:30 a.m. Illini fans are encouraged to head to Rebel for a postgame party as well. Admission is free to both the pre- and postgame events at Rebel.
