| The Late Model feature was a race fan's delight. Steve Sheppard Jr.,
from New Berlin, in the 5s took the early lead, running the high
side. Charging hard to the front was Matt Taylor, from Springfield,
in the 24T. Taylor was running each position down and gaining on
Sheppard. Taylor took the 24T to victory lane, passing Sheppard on
the last lap and getting the thumbs-up from him on the way to the
winner's circle. Taylor was hoping to carry that momentum into
Saturday's race at Macon Speedway. Myles Moos in the 20 car scored
a victory in his Pro Late Model. Winning the heat and then going out
and winning the feature had the Moose Racing team high-fiving most
of the night. Myles held off Roben Huffman in the 33H and Nick
Bauman in the B1, a regular in victory lane. Myles also raced his
Pro Late Model in the Late Model feature and placed eighth.

The Modified feature was another fantastic race to watch. Week in
and week out this division continues to bring great racers to the
track who compete for the spot in victory lane. Friday night was no
different. The 14 Cashless Racing car driven by Brian Lynn was
hooked up and charging to the finish, with Brian Divley in the 29
hot on his tail. These two drivers did it right and raced each other
clean lap after lap. They came into lap traffic, and Divley was able
to skate through to take the lead. Lynn kept his foot in it and
charged hard but was unable to regain the lead. Divley came home
with the checkered flag, but again not without the thumbs-up from
Lynn as Dively headed to the winner's circle.

Street Stock fans saw B.J. Beal take the checkered flag in
the 3D in the Street Stock feature. Todd Smith finished second
and Terry Reed finished third. Deal, driver for Wilhour Racing
and Crosley Radio, had promised to give away a tabletop iPod
jukebox to a lucky fan if he continued his winning streak on
Friday night. He held true to his word and a lucky fan won the
jukebox. Fans are invited to come out to the Lincoln Speedway on Friday
and enjoy the 305 Wing Sprints, along with a full show. On June 30,
the Super Late Models will make their stop in Lincoln as they travel
through central Illinois on the Summer Nationals "Hell Tour." For more information, visit
