LCU (2-0) started out hot in the first game, scoring four runs in
the first inning. SLCC (0-2) responded by scoring three of their own

High) calmed down and threw a complete game, giving up just two hits
and not allowing any more runs. LCU was able to tally their last two

total hits 11-2. In the second game, LCU again jumped out in the
first inning, scoring three runs. SLCC responded in the bottom half
of the inning with one run of their own. The rest of the game was
all LCU as they went on to tally up three more runs in the fourth
inning and four runs in the fifth. LCU had a large advantage in
total hits once again as starting pitcher Micah Wolfe (Mattoon,
University of Northwestern Ohio) held SLCC to three total hits
compared with LCU's 15.
