On Saturday there was an "Ultimate All You Can Eat Pancake/Sausage Breakfast" at Lincoln Christian Church to raise funds for Good News Creative Arts. The group consists of 41 students in seventh through 12th grade, which includes a 33-voice choir, six-piece worship band, T.R.A.S.H. (an ensemble that creates unique and amazing rhythms using found objects made of plastic and metal), Drama Team and Student Tech Crü.

With sponsors, the total group will be approximately 58. Good News Creative Arts is heading east to the Mid-Atlantic this summer. The group is planning a tour June 6-12 that will take them through nine states, with concerts in Ohio, North Carolina, Kentucky and Illinois. The 2013 edition of Good News Creative Arts is excited to join the more than 40-year legacy of traveling student ensembles from Lincoln Christian Church sharing the good news of Jesus' love across the United States and Canada since 1971.
