Central State Eight adds 2 Decatur schools for 2014-15

[March 15, 2013]  Decatur Eisenhower and Decatur MacArthur will begin competition in the Central State Eight in the 2014-2015 school year.

The conference board of control voted at their meeting Wednesday to accept the membership application from Decatur Public Schools.

With Taylorville leaving the conference after the 2013-2014 school year, membership will consist of the following schools at the beginning of the 2014-2015 school year:

• Chatham Glenwood

• Decatur Eisenhower

• Decatur MacArthur

• Jacksonville

• Lincoln

• Rochester

• Springfield High School

• Springfield Lanphier

• Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin

• Springfield Southeast
