[March 18, 2013]  Lincoln Elementary District 27 is seeking nominations for the Lincoln Junior High School wall honoring alumni. The wall, located in the LJHS commons, recognizes notable District 27 graduates. Its purpose is to promote pride in Lincoln and District 27 as well as to provide positive role models for current and future students.

Anyone who wishes to nominate an honoree may go directly to the district website at Lincoln27.com or may contact Susan Rohrer by email at srohrer@Lincoln27.net. Nominations are due by April 8.

Individuals nominated will be considered for recognition this year, and those not selected will be considered in future years. Honored graduates will be selected by a committee consisting of members of the board of education, teachers and members of the community.

District 27 is proud of the contributions its graduates have made at the local, state and national levels in law, medicine, education, engineering, religion, business and the arts. The district has helped establish the educational foundations for their accomplishments and feels the graduates and their achievements are worthy of recognition.
